Sunday morning at Bellport beach was hot, humid and clear with the exception some ground fog over the dunes.

After taking some shots with my regular camera, I took a drone flight to take in the scene from above.   I have taken hundreds of flights but this ranks up there with my personal favorites as the light and fog made for a beautiful scene.  As you can see in the images below, Old Inlet continues to shift, with a new spit building on the east side almost touching what is left of Pelican Island.  The channel looks about as narrow as I have seen since the inlet opened up in 2012 after Hurricane Sandy.

Page 2 has some photos of the Bellport Pavilion, still holding strong but with very little sand between it and the Ocean.
