Carmans River is one of Long Island’s four large rivers (the largest is Peconic River), and it drains into the eastern Great South Bay in Brookhaven.
It’s a great spot for wildlife and sunset photography. Check out the Black Skimmer in the fourth shot, not common at this end of the Bay.
