I had a business meeting in New York City on Thursday and brought my camera along for some night photography before grabbing a train home.

I started by walking half way across the Brooklyn Bridge.  For some reason I had never stepped foot on the bridge until just a few years ago.  If you have never walked it I encourage you to do so, the views are amazing.

I then walked across lower Manhattan and checked out the new Oculus, which is the very expensive centerpiece to the the World Trade Center Transportation Hub.

The Oculus then leads you under the West Side Highway to Brookfield place and North Cove Marina that always offers a nice angle of the World Trade Center.

Dragging around and setting up a tripod is not ideal in NYC so I used a clamp to attach the camera to the beams of the bridge for the long exposures.

All the images below were taken with a Nikon D750 with Nikkor 24-70 2.8 and 14-24 2.8 wide angle.
