I took a late afternoon ride with my son and dog to check out the harbor seals at Cupsogue Beach.  I knew there were some around but guessed that at low tide we had a good chance of seeing them hauled out on the sand bar in the east cut of Moriches Inlet.   When we arrived we were not disappointed, with about 80 seals hauled out in a tight cluster.  Usually there are a few swimmers on patrol but today the whole crew was high and dry.  I apologize for the quality of the images, they are at least 100 to 150 yards away and heavily cropped.
