After the drone flight and more short bass than we could count, we headed west to try to find bigger fish or the whales that we heard about earlier.
The ocean was empty all the way to Old Inlet where once again there were birds and fish on the surface in all directions. We had non stop action with cookie-cutter short bass. Despite not finding any keeper size fish it was still a great day on the water.
