Conditions were perfect with very little wind, calm seas, and great visibility. As soon as we passed the bar, we had diving birds and Striped Bass breaking in the surface in almost every direction.
We caught the fish in the bay on diamond jigs but the ocean fish were much more picky. We casted diamond jigs, bucktails, and albie jigs into water boiling with fish but no takers. Luckily Paul had a few very small surface plugs that did the trick.
