The $2.6 million restoration of Bellport Marina was finished in early July.  The job had a few setbacks, mostly due to Covid-19, and the opening delayed the start of boating season for the 146 slip marina.

While the job looks great on the surface, the bulk of the work was on the infrastructure beneath the dock.   That included elevating the main dock 18 inches in some areas and creating a stormwater drainage system.  The drainage system is state of the art, utilizing a hydrodynamic separator that will filter out contaminants, a win for water quality on Bellport Bay.
