The first winter storm of the season didn’t deliver much snow for the south shore of Long Island but the north winds created some flooding problems on the bayside of Fire Island.  Water levels came up at Ocean Beach on Monday morning were still up last night.  Mike Patrick, who commutes to Ocean Beach on the ferry, reported that Bay Walk had 14 inches of water and some businesses had up to a foot of water inside.
