While our unseasonably cool and damp Spring continues, it isn’t slowing down the wildlife action on Long Island as the migration continues and the first cygnet and gosling chicks have hatched.

The Long Island Wildlife Photography group did another fantastic job this week with an incredible variety of images and some incredible action shots.  Thanks to Jim Botta for the usual help in picking out the photos.

Notable finds this week include a nice variety of warblers including a Louisiana Waterthrush, Palm Warbler, Yellow-Rumped Warbler, Prothonotary Warbler, and Yellow-Throated Warbler.

This week’s cover shot goes to Brian Doherty with a beautiful Yellow-Crowned Night Heron.  Also, Natalie Ann outdid her self with 5 must-see videos on the last page.

If you have a few extra minutes try to check out all 9 pages and have a great and safe weekend!
