I missed last week but thanks to Jim Botta we can make it up with our biggest collection yet, with 16 pages of images and videos on the pages below from members of the Long Island Wildlife Photography group.  It is a good time for a big one as these may be our last batch of snowy wildlife photos as meteorological Spring starts tomorrow.  I am sure I am not alone in feeling like the season started turning last week.  It is has been a tough winter so even snow lovers are ready for a change.

Some of the highlights over the past two weeks include Horned Grebe, Pied Billed Grebe, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Rough Legged Hawk, Flying Squirrel, and some fantastic videos by Natalie Ann on the last page.

This week’s cover shot goes to Robert Kaplan with a fantastic image of a Belted Kingfisher in great light.

Grab an extra-large cup of coffee and try to check out all 16 pages!  As always, please consider sharing with some of your friends and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
