March has continued to roar like a Lion and it seems that even the hardest core lovers of Winter are ready for the Lamb.

This week had all kinds of weather and all of it was cold.  We actually ended up with more snow from last Friday’s storm than the “Blizzard” that shut everything down on Tuesday.

Despite the conditions the Long Island Sun Chasers photography group managed to get out and capture some of this winter’s wildest skies and biggest surf we have seen all year.

This week’s images span from Greenport in the East to Point Lookout to the West but most of the Chasers stayed close to the local beaches.

This week’s cover shot goes to Martin Losco who trudged a few miles in some tough conditions to get to Jones Beach West End Jetty as the big storm passed on Tuesday.

Most of these photographers print their work, if something catches your eye let me know and I will put you in touch with the artist.
