Almost 5 years after Sandy’s waves and extreme tides carved out a new inlet across from Bellport, it continues to amaze with it’s natural beauty and do a fantastic job flushing out the Eastern Great South Bay.

As you can see in the video above, the brown tide has abated and the ocean water mixing with the bay has taken a tropical look.
