A massive raft of Greater Scaup, also known by hunters as broadbills or blue bills was seen yesterday on Bellport Bay.
These winter visitors from the North have been in decline so it was nice to see.
I took some stills and sent up a drone to get a better look.
At the 50 second mark the group took to the air after the police boat passed.
The sound that thousands taking off together make is incredible.
