While the Pavilion is still precariously perched between the Dune and the surf line, it still looks structurally sound. The dune that used to run under the pavilion has continued to pull back leaving the walkway exposed to the beach. It is strange walking up to the Pavilion with a beautiful ocean view. Many people probably remember massive dunes to the East from this location before Sandy. To compare the pullback year over year I included three photos of the pavilion taken in February 2017 followed by a bunch of aerial and ground photos taken 3-31-18.
