I took advantage of a brief weather window on Saturday and took a boat ride over the Davis Park. I wasn’t alone as the Davis Park Ferry had a fairly packed boat on the 12:15 as you will see in the video.
Work continues on the Davis Park Marina with the floating dock on the east side all done with the main focus now the Ferry Dock. Contractors are now working at least 6 days a week, just guessing, but It may be a close call to have everything done by Memorial Day. We will certainly keep you posted.
In the meantime, the Davis Park Ferry is now running a 7 day a week schedule and parking in front of the Harbor Store.
Below are aerial photos above the marina, beach and a few shots from the roof of the Davis Park Casino. I ended up staying overnight after the conditions deteriorated quickly Saturday afternoon and included a few pics of the beach and surf on Sunday morning on page 2.
I was able to clean some debris off the cameras stationed on top of the Davis Park Casino, surf is up today, check out the Surf and Beach cams as more storms approach later this morning.
