The Great South Bay Music Festival starts Thursday evening on the edge of the bay in Patchogue and runs straight through the weekend to Sunday Night.

Children of all ages are welcome with 10 and under FREE.

Besides the music there is a KIDZONE featuring children’s entertainment all day Saturday and Sunday, an Artisan Market, diverse food court, and multiple beer and wine gardens.

In between all ages can enjoy approximately 60 performers on 4 stages with national acts mixed in with local emerging artists covering classic rock, jazz, jam-band, country, folk, zydeco, funk and perhaps a few that don’t fit into a general description.

National Acts include 311, Taking Back Sunday, Gov’t Mule, The Zombies, and Eddie Money alongside local acts like Soundswell, The Electrix and Ooogee-Wawa to name just a few.

Click here for a full list of performers and here for the full schedule.

Tickets and ticket packages can be purchased online here or at the box office on site.

From personal experience I can tell you it has gotten bigger and better each and every year.
