Best of the Long Island Sun Chasers 7-15-2018

This week we handed the keys to Caren Milheron, who took up photography about three years ago and found the Sun Chasers last year. Caren grew up in Bohemia and has lived in Amity Harbor for 35 years. Like many Sun Chasers, what started as a hobby has turned into something much more. I have watched Caren’s photography improve every week and was happy when she volunteered to take over this week.

I recently retired after 25 years at CVS as a Pharmacy Lead Tech. Now my passion is to not only to get out and take photos, but to really enjoy looking at all of yours. It helps me to learn as well. I really enjoyed taking on the task of choosing this edition of the Best of the Long Island Sun Chasers. The photos this week were off the charts…. there were so many phenomenal photos it made it so hard to choose! Many wonderful Milky Way and others were outstanding. Michael Parrack’s Milky Way at Cedar Island Lighthouse below was super creative! Thank you all for your talents and GREAT job by everyone!
