Best of the Long Island Sun Chasers 6-8-18

I was on the West Coast for most of the last week and heard about some lousy weather back at home., but after going through this week’s images by the Long Island Sun Chasers, it’s hard to believe.

Below you will see about 45 images with some brilliant skies and beautiful scenes from Montauk to Long Beach.

Now that we are into June, twilight starts around 4:45 a.m. so if you want to catch sunrise prepare to give up some sleep.

We also have a new Moon on Jun 13th so if we get some clear skies early next week it might be a great time to try to see and capture the Milky Way if you enjoy stargazing.
