For the first time since I started the Best of the Long Island Sun Chasers feature over a year ago I called in sick last week.  Between Thanksgiving and a bunch of other content I just couldn’t make it happen.  As it turns out this was a big mistake because with over 3000 members now it just made this week tougher.  This group has our beautiful Island covered from end to end, picking out 40 or 50 images out of the hundreds submitted ensures a great selection but also means I leave a lot of quality images behind.

Below you will see a great selection of images showing Long Island at its late fall finest from Montauk all the way to Breezy Point in the shadow of New York City.

As always let me know if you are interested in a print, I can put you in touch with the photographer.  We have a couple pending sales from the last edition in the works now.

This weeks cover goes to Douglas Kelley, a founding member of the group that nailed a late Fall beach scene from Robert Moses last week.

If you have time, try to check out all 5 pages and 55 photos  below!
