After a two-week hiatus, the Best of The Long Island Sun Chasers is back with a huge gallery of images to make up for lost time!

I have said it before but my favorite time of year for photography continues to be winter, the harsher the better.  So far 2018 has exceeded all expectations with an early freeze of the bays, a few snowstorms, fog, sea smoke and even frozen waves!

I am clearly not the only one that feels that way as the Chasers have been spread out capturing Long Island at it’s Winter’s finest in some very harsh conditions.

As usual, if an image catches your attention you might consider a print for your home or office.  Just email me mike@greatsouthbayimages.com and I can put you in touch with the photographer.

This week’s cover goes to Kathleen Desiderio with a knockout image of the Great South Bay Bridge rising out of the fog.

Take a minute to scroll through all 6 pages and have a great weekend!
