By Mike Busch

Another week of spectacular images from the Long Island Wildlife Photography group, which continues grow with north of 8300 members and counting!

Highlights this week include another River Otter ( I have never seen one), a Cory’s Shearwater off Montauk (normally seen well offshore), a Wood Frog, and a Clapper Rail with chick!

This week’s cover photo goes to Mike Babulak with a unique shot of an Osprey defending his catch.

I ran into two different teachers this week that say they are using this feature for their classes, trying to get the next generation interested in the outdoors rather than their mobile devices!

Consider showing this to a friend that teaches or your kids, they might be surprised by some of the diverse wildlife the group is finding.

If you have time check out all 6 pages!
