The Long Island Wildlife Photography group continues to grow, surpassing 12500 members this week.   Membership is also incredibly active with 144,000 posts, comments and reactions for the last 30 days.   I need to thank Jim Botta for helping out with the group and helping me pick out the images for this column, there are just too many quality shots to keep up with now.  This week will be the biggest one to date with 10 pages of images and video below.

A few notable finds this week include a Snow Goose, Purple Sandpiper, Marbled Godwits, and an Evening Grosbeak.  Below you will also see a huge collection of beautiful Winter Ducks, Hawks, Falcons, Eagles and Harbor Seals.  We are still adding videos to the last page, check out some beautiful work from Natalie Ann, who captured two great videos of a Peregrine Falcon.

This week’s cover shot goes to Janis Hurley with a fantastic image of a Common Loon.  If you have time, scroll through all 10 pages!
