Another fantastic set of images this week from the Long Island Wildlife Photography group.

Now that December is right around the corner we are entering a great time of year for wildlife photography.  The trees will soon be bare, making it easier to find and get unobstructed views.

If you like birds of prey, now is a great time to get out there as the group captured great shots of  Bald Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, Northern Harriers,  Kestrel, Coopers and Red Tail Hawks this week.

Some other interesting finds including a  Purple Sandpiper, Harlequin Ducks, Prothonotary Warbler, and a very late season Piping Plover.

This week’s cover shot goes to Anita Regler with a great shot of a Northern Harrier in hunting mode.

If you have time check out all 5 pages!
