When Mike asked me to take over the selection of this week’s best, I thought “How hard could this be?”  I soon discovered just how many interesting photographs appear each week on the Long Island Wildlife Photography page.

I decided to choose images to feature this week that said “Spring” to me. Despite being a warm winter, there is nothing quite as exciting as seeing as the creatures and behaviors that arrive with longer days and warmer temps.

Congrats to all who posted this past week….you are quite a talented group of nature photographers.
